A bullywug who grew up far away from society, Laetiporus was raised by a single grandmother. He always dreamed of going to the outside world, but his grandmother was scared of leaving the forest. From her he also inherited a fear of outsiders -- but realized he had to get over this fear if he was going to care for Mortimer, his giant cursed rabbit. He finally ventured out, and now loves the outside world with his lovely village. He dreams of one day visiting the mystical land of "Poland" that his grandmother always told him stories about.

The Norwood Bandits, surrounding the party, leap to attack. However, they find themselves vastly outmatched in the party. After witnessing two brutal decapitations, the few remaining bandits surrender and beg for mercy. The party leaves Teemo and Athena to watch the survivors and ensure they leave the Fieldsgrove area, while the others head to a mysterious barn that the bandit leader, Klara, had a map to. In the barn at the edge of the Wastes, they find a massive hoard of grain and resources stolen from the Lord Mayor Zemtyr of Fieldsgrove. It seems the bandits believe there is an end to the Wastes, and were preparing for a journey to reach it. Looking over the vast, dead plains that comprise the Wastes, however, it is hard to believe in that.
