A bullywug who grew up far away from society, Laetiporus was raised by a single grandmother. He always dreamed of going to the outside world, but his grandmother was scared of leaving the forest. From her he also inherited a fear of outsiders -- but realized he had to get over this fear if he was going to care for Mortimer, his giant cursed rabbit. He finally ventured out, and now loves the outside world with his lovely village. He dreams of one day visiting the mystical land of "Poland" that his grandmother always told him stories about.
Description here
Fang is a half-orc, leaning more on the orc side than human. His family has always lived on the edges of civilization, and he's learned everything he knows from them. Fang prioritizes his connection to people above all else, and it's through that connection he fuels and channels his rage. Fang desperately wants to be well-liked, and relies on his strength to get him out of most situations. He is also very superstitious, with a strong distaste for magic. "And the fate of man is in the hands/ Of he who stands and heeds the call" -Greta Van Fleet, Black Smoke Rising
The party returns to Fieldsgrove and speaks with Rimidenn of the Adventurer's Guild. He asks if they'd like to attend Ceremony with him and Lien to scout out the temple for the heist of the Gnomish Holy Symbol. They find Rimidenn more trustworthy than he initially appeared and share their findings at Norwood, together deciding to notify Séan Rogers (the town's Steward) so that he could bring the grain hoard back to the town. Teemo and Athena return along with the townsfolk carrying grain. In the meantime, the party gets a call from Zerendar about their next task - to go to his old lair in the Twisted Hills and revive his teacher, who is in a magical sleep. Problematically, the Twisted Hills are not on any known map. They attend Ceremony at the temple and find that the Holy Symbol is kept in a locked room beneath the altar, accessible by the priestess and acoloytes. After a few more errands a heist is planned for that evening. At the end of the day, Lien takes a liking to the crew and gives them a shred of a map that she found ages ago, showing the location of the Twisted Hills (but without any surrounding context).
